The concept of agreement plays a central role in theoretical linguistics
and constitutes a phenomenon on the edge of morphology and
syntax. Agreement relations such as the relation between subject and
finite verb and between noun and adjective show a large amount of
variation, both in typological and in dialectal perspective. The goal of
this project is to enhance our insight in the nature of variation and the
degree in which variation occurs in and between languages.
