Stilis project (studies in listening proficiency). The goal is to explore and explain individual differences in listening proficiency. This will be done by assessing sentence processing skills and several skills/capacities that might be predictive of or related to listening comprehension. Participants are first and second language learners of higher and lower education and older and younger learners. The Stilis project is a four-year project that started in August 2007 (with Nomi Olsthoorn and Jan Hulstijn).
